MERIT

Merit questions require a higher level of research and analysis. To achieve a grade of merit:

• all regular questions must pass, and
• every merit question must be answered and pass.

DISTINCTION

Distinction questions require a substantially higher level of research and analysis. To achieve a grade of distinction:

• all regular questions must pass, and
• if there are merit questions every merit question must be answered and pass, and
• all distinction questions must be answered and pass.
